RELIEF FOR REPETITIVE STRAIN INJURIES

Repetitive strain injuries are primarily caused by tense and awkward ways of holding our bodies when performing daily activities, for example playing a violin or working at a computer. Repetitive strain injuries can also be caused by performing a range of other activities.
The Alexander Technique works by helping people to identify and then prevent harmful postural habits that may cause repetitive strain injuries.
The Alexander Technique is taught in individual ½ hour lessons. By a process of gentle adjustment and verbal instruction tense muscles are released, poor posture is improved and a person is guided in how to perform their daily activities in a relaxed and co-ordinated way.
Contact Frank Kennedy to arrange an introductory lesson when the benefits of the Alexander Technique can be explained and demonstrated.
