HOW THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE WORKS
Our bodies are designed for easy well co-ordinated movement. However due to our sedentary lifestyle we develop wrong habits of slouching in chairs, crouching over desks and rushing about our day tense and badly co-ordinated.
Because we misuse our bodies in this way, we may develop round shoulders, slouched back and overly tense muscles. These conditions can be at the root of many ailments including back, neck and joint pain, repetitive strain injury, tension-headaches, fatigue and stress related conditions.
The Alexander Technique works by helping people identify and then prevent harmful postural habits that may be at the root of stress, pain and poor performance.
In individual half hour lessons you will learn how to release tense muscles and re-discover natural poise.
