ALLEVIATE NECK PAIN

Poor posture is a major cause of neck pain.
For example cradling the phone between the head and shoulder strains the neck; also jutting the chin forward when working on a computer and generally compressing the neck when performing daily activities can cause tension and pain.
The Alexander Technique concentrates on correcting harmfulpostural habits that aggravate or cause neck pain.
Improving posture relieves muscular spasm and lengthens the spine easing strain on the neck.
The Alexander Technique is taught in individual ½ hour lessons, by a process of gentle adjustment and verbal instruction tense muscles are released, posture is improved and a person is guided in how to perform their daily activities in a relaxed and co-ordinated way.
Contact Frank Kennedy to arrange an introductory lesson when the benefits of the Alexander Technique can be explained and demonstrated.
